Firefighters have put out a post box that had been set on fire.
The incident took place near Manningtree Railway Station at about 9.15am this morning.
One fire crew from Manningtree was sent to Nash Close, Lawford Dale, was sent to the scene and firefighters used dry power to extinguish the flames by 9.41am.
