A CASUALTY had to be cut out of their vehicle following a crash which left it on the edge of a pond.
The fire service was contacted at 12.54pm about the crash in Market Weston, south-east of Thetford, involving one vehicle.
It had collided into a tree in Ponds End Lane, was on the edge of a pond and one person was trapped.
An appliance from Ixworth and one from Thetford and one from Diss attended.
Hydraulic cutting equipment was used to free the casualty who was placed in the care of the ambulance service.
All appliances had left the scene by 2.25pm.
