MARTIAL ARTS: Two members of Team Ipswich MMA took part in a big event staged at the luxurious Charter Hall, Colchester.

Jason Cooledge was having his fourth fight of the year coming into this event with a clean 3-0 record and he was matched with hard hitting Acer Nuttall from Romford.

In front of a large crowd and with his family sitting cage side he took an impressive victory early in the first round winning by a beautifully executed guillotine choke after weathering an early storm from Nuttall.

Cooledge’s coaches Shane Smy and Alex Tatum joined together to congratulated him. “Jason deserves it so much, this guy trains like an animal always pushing himself and his team mates around him.

“He’s a credit to the Team, sometimes people don’t understand just how tough it is to not only be fit to compete, but to learn all the skills associated with MMA.”

For Sebastian Sebastian Kujawiak it was his second MMA bout this year. and after putting up a good fight he got into a bad position at the end of the second round and could not intelligently defend himself with the referee stopping the fight.
