A woman in her 50s is in hospital after a crash between a car and a lorry on the A12 near Martlesham.
The vehicles collided southbound between the roundabout near Suffolk Constabulary’s headquarters and the “Tesco roundabout” at around 9.40am today, a force spokesman said.
An ambulance spokesman said a woman in her 50s was treated at the scene and was taken to Ipswich Hospital. He said her injuries are not thought to be serious.
The stretch of the road was closed by police following the crash and had re-opened by 11.30am.
