AN investigation has been launched tonight after a masked gang stole a quantity of cash from a security van in Mildenhall.

AN investigation has been launched tonight after a masked gang stole a quantity of cash from a security van in Mildenhall.
The offence, which took place at just after 8pm in the Market Place, is believed to have involved four offenders.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said nobody was hurt in the incident but an undisclosed amount of money had been stolen.
No descriptions of the men are currently available but the spokesman confirmed that all the offenders were wearing balaclavas.
It is not known if they used weapons.
