POLICE are hunting a pair of robbers who held up a convenience shop in Ipswich last night.

POLICE are hunting a pair of robbers who held up a convenience shop in Ipswich last night.

The masked raiders stole cash from the Spar shop on Freehold Road, between 8.15 pm and 8.25 pm.

After demanding money from shop staff, one of the offenders jumped over the counter and helped himself to the contents of a till.

The first robber was male and described as 6ft 2ins tall, of broad build, and wearing a black bomber style jacket and light hooded top.

The second was described as 5ft 10ins, of slight build, and wearing a black bomber style jacket and a blue hoodie.

The gender of the second robber is yet to be determined as both wore 'Scream style' masks while carrying out the robbery.
