A fisherman was met on shore by paramedics after falling ill and fainting during the morning catch.
Thames Coastguard received a call for help from the fishing boat Razorbill at about 10am yesterday and called the ambulance service to arrange for medics to meet the boat as it arrived at Mersea Island.
