AN ANGLER was discovered dead in his fishing tent, an inquest heard.
Terry Fellows, 44, a refuse collector, of Admirals Walk in Woodbridge, had been fishing at Breakaway Fisheries in Melton on May 16 when a member of the public found his body.
A statement from fellow-angler Michael Clark, who had spoken to him earlier, was read at Wednesday’s inquest at Ip-City. He said: “We had a chat about fishing. His speech seemed very slow.”
A post-mortem revealed Mr Fellows had bronchopneumonia and diabetes.
Greater Suffolk coroner Dr Peter Dean recorded a verdict of death due to natural causes.
He said: “It would seem there was a combination of his pre-existing disease and bronchopneumonia that very rapidly caused his death at night.”
