SERVICEMEN who lost their lives in a head-on crash on a rural Suffolk road have been remembered in an emotional memorial service attended by their family and colleagues.
RAF Lakenheath's Chapel was packed out yesterday morning to commemorate the premature deaths of Mark Stephany, 24, and Daniel Addabbo, 23, in the wake of the fatal crash last Saturday.
Two service personnel close to the pair delivered poignant tribute speeches and prayers were said.
They were pronounced dead at the scene of a two car collision on an S bend of the A1101 at Icklingham which occurred at around 7.20pm.
Senior Airman Josh Henry, who helped organise the service, said: “The chapel was packed. There were people having to stand at the back.
