Suffolk police have arrested three men on suspicion of immigration offences after they were seen by members of the public on the A140 this afternoon.

Suffolk police were called at 12.30pm this afternoon (September 28) by a member of the public who reported that they had seen some men jump out of the back of a lorry in Creeting St Mary and run off towards the A14.

Officers were sent to the area and at around 12.45pm arrested three men on suspicion of immigration offences on the A140. The men have since been taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre, where they await questioning by Immigration Enforcement Officers.
