Two teenage cyclists were injured after reportedly riding into the back of a car in north Suffolk this morning.
The incident took place on Lansdowne Road in Lowestoft just before 8.30am when two bicycles were reported to be in collision with a Volkswagen Passat. The
Both teens were taken to hospital but their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 8.21am to reports of a road traffic incident involving two cyclists reportedly riding into the back of a car.
“The East of England Ambulance Service Trust dispatched an ambulance to the scene where they treated the two male cyclists both in their teenage years. “One cyclist suffered from a cut face and the second from leg injuries. Both were taken to James Paget Hospital in Gorleston for further care.
“Both should make a full recovery.”
