Police are seeking a car involved in a crash outside an Essex pub that left a woman injured.

Around 12.50am on January 3, it was reported that two cars - a white estate and a red Vauxhall Corsa - collided in Mersea Road, outside The Grapes public house.

The white car failed to stop at the scene or the collision and continued to drive away from the town centre.

Anyone with information about this collision, who lives nearby or may have passed this car at the time and has dash cam footage, is asked to call the Stanway Roads Policing Unit on 101 quoting incident number 22 of 03/01.
