A woman was taken to hospital by air ambulance this afternoon after suffering a medical emergency behind the wheel of her car.
The patient, a woman in her late 30s, crashed her Alfa Romeo at the junction of Yoxford Road and Fordley Road in Middleton after taking ill at around 3.20pm.
Suffolk police closed the road while the vehicle was removed, reopening it around 4.30pm.
