POLICE in Mildenhall are appealing for information after a man was punched on the side of the road.
The incident occurred at around 7pm on Wednesday, November 21.
A 35-year-old man got a lift into town from a stranger and was dropped off outside the fire station in North Place.
The driver of a silver saloon car pulled over nearby and got out of his car. He punched the victim multiple times in a possible road rage incident.
The victim required stitches as a result of the assault.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the alleged altercation.
