A DEER had to be rescued by firefighters after getting trapped in a set of railings.
The animal became stuck in railings in Mill Street, Mildenhall, and firefighters from Mildenhall station were called out to attend just after 10am today.
They used hydraulic cutting gear to free the trapped deer by about 10.15am.
The animal was not thought to have been hurt in the incident.
