A girl who went missing as she was heading towards the town of Bury st Edmunds has been found.

Previously Suffolk police released a statement that a young girl had gone missing.

Chloe Humpage had been missing since September 5 when she was last seen at 4.45pm.

Officers were concerned for her welfare as she had not been seen since when it was reported that she had been heading towards Bury St Edmunds town centre.

Thankfully Chloe was found with St Edmundsbury Police tweeting out their thanks to the public for their cooperation just before 4pm.

The account sent this message on the social media site: “The missing person Chloe Humpage who was previously circulated by Suffolk Police has now been found alive and well.

“We would like to thank the public for their help.”
