Missing man sparks police appeal

POLICE are appealing for help in tracing a 54-year-old man who has been missing since last Friday.

POLICE are appealing for help in tracing a 54-year-old man who has been missing since last Friday.

Stephen Beckton of Ashe Road, Rendlesham, was expected home on Thursday June 11 having worked in Kent but he did not return. Mr Beckton was seen on Friday June 12 at the Tesco supermarket in Martlesham Heath.

He is described as white, 5ft 10ins, of medium build, with short greying hair, a beard and thin-framed glasses. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and dark trousers. He also drives a red Ford Focus.

Police are asking Mr Beckton, or anyone who may know where he is, to call the duty sergeant at Woodbridge police station on 01473 613500.
