Police have withdrawn a missing person appeal for Colchester man Michael Hill.

The 43-year-old was reported missing from his home on December 31, but has since been seen by his family.

An Essex Police spokesman said the appeal for information, which was issued on January 2, was no longer needed and thanked the media for sharing the appeal.
