A 14-year-old boy has been found safe and well after going missing from home for three days.

Adam Spaul left his home on Friday and told his mum he was staying with a friend, but when she called to check he was OK she was told he wasn’t there.

The teenager, from Lowestoft, who has been missing before but has always returned within 24 hours, was thought to have gone to meet someone he met on the internet.

Police were concerned for his well-being because of his age and the fact he only had a small amount of cash with him.

A police spokeswoman said he had been found safe and well in Cambridge at lunchtime yesterday.
