POLICE searching for two missing people from Hertfordshire, who were believed to be in Suffolk, say one of them has been found.

Officers had been searching for Penny Legg since Saturday after she went missing from her home in Kings Langley.

A spokesman for Suffolk police confirmed this morning that the 53-year-old woman has been found safe and well.

Police are still carrying out inquiries in north Suffolk into the whereabouts of Gareth Davies, 58, who was last seen at his home in Hatfield on May 27.

Mr Davies last spoke to family members on June 5 by telephone and his grey Vauxhall Vectra car was found by police officers in North Parade, Southwold, on Friday.

Mr Davies is described as thin, white with a tanned complexion with short straight brown hair. He is usually clean shaven, has blue eyes and speaks with a Welsh accent.
