Woman taken to hospital following collision near Otley college

A road traffic collision involving a moped and a car has left a woman with injuries.
Police were called at 2.05pm today to an incident on the B1078 in the village of Otley, near the Otley and Easton College Campus.
The road traffic collision, involving a Volkswagen Passat and a moped, saw the road close briefly.
A woman was left with some injuries and the scene was attended by ambulances and a paramedics car.
The woman was assessed for her injuries, with the ambulance service confirming that they were neither life threatening nor life-changing but she was still later transported to hospital.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “An ambulance, an ambulance officer and East Anglian Ambulance Service were called to a road traffic collision on the B1079 near Otley today, September 11, shortly after 2pm.
“One woman was transported to Ipswich hospital by road ambulance.”
The Suffolk Constabulary re-opened the road at around 3.30pm and have since left the scene.
