A moped rider has been taken to hospital with a head injury after a crash with a bus in Kentford, west Suffolk this evening.

Emergency services were called at 6.10pm to Lanwades Park, near the Animal Health Trust, after a moped and a bus came together.

A Suffolk police spokeswoman said the moped rider had suffered a head injury, and had been taken to West Suffolk Hospital.

Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Recovery work is continuing to take place at the scene, with motorists being advised there may be some delays in the area.
