More names have been announced for this year’s Maverick Festival at Easton Farm Park, near Woodbridge.

California three-piece Marty O’Reilly and the Old Soul Orchestra have joined the bill, alongside Aussie alt-country singer-songwriter Anne McCue and New Orleans Grammy-nominee Andrew Duhon.

Joel Rafael, a foremost interpreter of the work of Woody Guthrie, who has recorded and performed with the likes of Jackson Browne, also joins the line-up for the three-day festival, being held across five stages over the Fourth of July weekend.

The festival already boasts the likes of Billy Bragg and veteran producer Joe Boyd, who in testament to the 50th anniversary of the 1965 Newport Festival – when Dylan went electric – will be hosting a Q&A after a screening of The Other Side of the Mirror, which documents the controversial performance.
