More arrests for club shooting

POLICE have arrested two further men in relation to a shooting at an Ipswich club last year.

A 25-year-old and a 23-year-old, both from Kilburn, London, were taken into police custody yesterday on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and violent disorder. Both men have been released on police bail to return to Wembley Police Station on June 24.

The arrests follow investigations into the incident, which occurred at the Caribbean Club, Woodbridge Road, in the early hours of Saturday December 19, 2009.

Five people were injured following the shooting and were taken to Ipswich Hospital.

Anyone who was at the Caribbean club overnight on December 18/19 2009, or who was in the vicinity of the club between 3am and 5am on December 19 or who has any information in relation to this incident is asked to contact Ipswich CID on 01473 613500 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
