FURTHER details of Prince Charles' visit to Ipswich next week have been revealed today.
The Prince of Wales will travel to Ipswich Town's Portman Road ground next Tuesday to “celebrate the fantastic contribution” made by the club in their partnership with the Prince's Trust.
Although many football clubs help deliver elements of Prince's Trust programmes and initiatives, Ipswich was the first club to run a complete 12 week self-development team programme through the Ipswich Town Community Trust.
The club began the partnership in February 2008 and have so far completed three 12-week Team programmes.
During next week's trip the Prince will meet youngsters helped by the initiative as well as staff and local trust supporters.
He will also meet young people who have benefited from another of The Prince's Trusts programmes, Get Into Construction, which in the East of England over the past two years has provided construction skills training to more than 400 young people.
