EAST Anglia looks set to be battered by further snow storms this week.
Forecasters have predicted that snow will fall in Suffolk and north Essex on Friday in similar amounts to yesterday.
Weatherquest forecaster Steve Western said: “Thursday will be cloudy with some spots of rain but we are expecting there to be a problem with some snow on Friday afternoon, probably any time from late morning onwards. There could be a reasonable amount of snow, about the same as yesterday.”
Suffolk County Council said just five schools were closed today due to the weather conditions, mainly in the west of the county. Heavy snow yesterday resulted in the closure of 130 schools in Suffolk and 400 in Essex.
