The accident happened at 5.09pm on the A134 at Horringer, near Bury St Edmunds, and involved a Ford Fiesta car and a Suzuki GSF 1200.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said the male motorcyclist had been taken to West Suffolk Hospital in Bury but his condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
No details on the condition of the car driver are known.
