A motorcyclist has received ‘potentially life-threatening’ injuries after a crash in Eyke near Woodbridge.

Police were called at around 9.30am today, Sunday, September 24, to the collision on the B1084.

The road was completely closed while officers and medics worked at the scene.

A police spokesman said: “The B1084 in Eyke has been closed due to a collision.

“There was a male motorcyclist who has come off their machine.

“His injuries have been described as potentially life-changing or life-threatening.

“The road has been closed while a full investigation takes place.”

The man was rushed to Ipswich Hospital by ambulance.

The road was reopened at around 1pm.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who has information that could assist officers in their investigation.
