Motorist killed in A14 crash is named
POLICE have named a motorist who was killed in a horrific crash on the A14 following a day of treacherous weather conditions.Terence Leeks, 54, of London Road, Ipswich, died on Friday after his van was involved in a collision with an articulated lorry on the eastbound carriageway of the A14 at Sproughton, near Ipswich.

POLICE have named a motorist who was killed in a horrific crash on the A14 following a day of treacherous weather conditions.
Terence Leeks, 54, of London Road, Ipswich, died on Friday after his van was involved in a collision with an articulated lorry on the eastbound carriageway of the A14 at Sproughton, near Ipswich.
The crash happened at 2.15pm after a morning of heavy snow showers, sleet and rain.

Emergency services were forced to close the eastbound carriageway of the busy road for more than six hours.
Police said Mr Leeks was pronounced dead at the scene. It is not known whether the lorry driver sustained injuries.
