Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorist was robbed while queuing on a slip road on the M11 near Stansted.

Just after 5pm on Friday, February 16, the victim was waiting in traffic as he came off the M11 at junction 11, near Birchanger Services, when a man approached his car and got in through the passenger door.

The man then demanded money from the driver and, after a struggle, grabbed the victim’s bag and ran off in the direction of the services.

The man was described by the victim as white, around 6ft tall and of a slim build.

He was wearing a dark coloured, hooded top which has been arranged to cover his face.
