Motorists experienced delays heading eastbound on the A14 this afternoon following a two-vehicle collision at Nacton.
Police were called at shortly before 4.45pm today to reports of a crash involving two vehicles on the A14 near the Nacton turn off.
Motorists travelling towards Felixstowe were warned to expect increased delays during the rush hour as officers worked to clear the road.
A spokesperson for Suffolk police said no injuries had been reported at this stage. Police received reports that the crash involved a car and a lorry, although this is unconfirmed.
The road was cleared at 5.10pm.
