Motorists given advanced warning of abnormal load travelling in east Suffolk next month

A abnormal load will be travelling through parts of Suffolk early next month.

Advanced warning is being given by Suffolk police of the movement from Lowestoft to Bacton Gas Terminal on Monday, January 5.

The load is a large reel measuring 5.3metres wide and 22.5m long.

It will travel along Heath Road in Lowestoft and then go via the A146, A1117, A12, A149 and B1149 to the site.

Delays are to be expected along this route from 9.30am.
