Motorists could face delays on the roads today as police escort an abnormal load through the county.
The 4.2m wide, 15.5m and 4.8m high storage tanks, weighing 54 tonnes, will be escorted by Suffolk police from Cookson & Zinn, in Station Road, Hadleigh to RAF Lakenheath.
The escort will leave Hadleigh at around 9.30am today, Monday, September 25.
The massive load will travel along Pond Hall Road, Duke Street, the A1071, the A1214, the A14 the A11, the A1065 and then local roads to RAF Lakenheath,
A police spokesman warned that delays can be expected on these routes.
