MOTORISTS are being warned of delays on the clockwise stretch of the M25 close to the junction with the A12 because of slow moving traffic.

Road users are advised to find alternative routes and allow for a longer journey time because of conditions between junctions 27 and 29.

Two lanes of the M25 between junctions 29 and 30 also remain closed following a serious road traffic collision.

The police are currently carrying out their investigations, with the Highways Agency supporting them by staffing the closures.

A Highways Agency spokesperson said: "Road conditions are being affected by bad weather. Road users should expect a longer journey and keep their distance from vehicles in front of them.

"We are working with the police and other partners to try and re-open the motorway as soon as possible."

At 2.30, there was also heavy traffic on the anti-clockwise carriageway on the approach to Junction 22 at London Colney to the M25 intersection.
