An adaptation of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s much-loved children’s story Stick Man is coming to the stage in Bury St Edmunds.

The award-winning production, from Scamp Theatre, the team behind The Scarecrows’ Wedding, features a trio of top actors and is packed full of puppetry, songs, live music, and funky moves.

What starts off as a morning jog becomes quite the misadventure for Stick Man – a dog wants to play fetch with him, a swan builds a nest with him, and he even ends up on a fire.

How will Stick Man ever get back to the family tree?

Touching, funny and original, the show, at the Theatre Royal, is most suitable for ages 3+ but all ages are welcome.

Stick Man runs from Sunday, September 30 until Tuesday, October 2, and tickets are on sale at the Box Office on 01284 769505, or online at www.theatreroyal.orgAlternatively, people can visit the theatre in person.
