A MAN appeared in court today charged with the murder of a 42-year-old woman found dead in a Thetford park.
A man appeared in court today charged with the murder of a 42-year-old woman found dead in a Thetford park.
Marzwea Karbowniak's body was found near a footpath at the Water Meadows on Monday morning. A post mortem revealed she had been kicked and beaten to death.
Today Mariusz Jan Bernadek, 43, appeared before King's Lynn Magistrates, charged with murdering Ms Karbowniak between September 13 and 16.
Speaking through an interpreter, Bernadek confirmed his name, date of birth, and that he was of no fixed abode.
No plea was entered and he was remanded in custody to appear at Norwich Crown Court in two weeks' time.
