A WOMAN and two men charged with the murder of 17-year-old Yarmouth College engineering student Simon Everitt had a court hearing at Norwich Crown Court today.

Jonathan Clarke, 19, of Telford, Shropshire formerly of Nelson Road South, Great Yarmouth and Jimi-Lee Stewart, 24, of Nelson Road Central, Great Yarmouth and Maria Chandler of Lancaster Road, Great Yarmouth, are all charged with the murder of Mr Everitt between June 6 and 28 at Mautby, where Simon's body was discovered.

Clarke is also charged with assaulting Simon on June 6 this year and possession of an offensive weapon around his back on the same date.

Clarke and Stewart appeared for the short hearing but Chandler was not produced in court.

All three were remanded in custody and are due to appear at a further hearing on September 29.

Mr Everitt's badly-decomposed body was found at Church Farm, Mautby. He had been tied to a tree and had petrol poured down his throat.
