A MURDER investigation has been launched after a man died following a fight at a caravan park in Point Clear, near Clacton.
Emergency services were called to Orchards Holiday Village at 11.30pm yesterday and found a 33-year-old man who was seriously ill.
He was taken to Colchester General Hospital by ambulance but died a few hours later
A 38-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is being questioned by detectives.
A post mortem examination was carried out today but it was unable to establish the cause of death so more tests will be needed.
Both the victim and the arrested man were from south-east London and were on holiday with family and friends at the caravan park.
