POLICE have arrested a 42-year-old man on suspicion of murder after a pensioner died after he was found collapsed on a driveway in Eye.
POLICE have arrested a 42-year-old man on suspicion of murder after a pensioner died after he was found collapsed on a driveway in Eye.
The 74-year-old man was found on Cranley Green Road in the town in the early hours of Saturday morning and was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich hospital by ambulance.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said they received reports at about 6.10am that the man had sustained a possible head injury.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said a 42-year-old man had been arrested and was being held in custody at Ipswich police station.
