The Museum of East Anglian Life, which was only recently the target of a devastating burglary, is running a programme of activities for all ages from February 10 to February 17.
A popular Stowmarket museum will be hosting a week devoted to volunteering this half-term.
Spring cleaning the museum displays, conservation work, painting and decorating, and building a brand new collection project are among the activities on offer.
The news comes just one week after The Museum of East Anglian Life appealed for donations from the public, after 135 items of local interest were stolen by thieves.
Offenders broke into the 75-acre site of The Museum of East Anglian Life in the early hours of January 29 and took a number of “irreplaceable” artefacts.
To sign up for Volunteer Week, contact the museum on volunteering@eastanglianlife.org.uk or call 01449 612229.
