Musical backing as Grantchester novelist arrives in Woodbridge

A novelist’s appearance in Woodbridge will be bookended by the sounds of rhythm and blues, jazz, folk and soul.
Jenny Wren and Her Borrowed Wings will set the scene for James Runcie, author of the Grantchester Mysteries.
Jenny Trilsbach, Ben Fisher and Ben Gallon were seen in town at Christmas, entertaining shoppers outside Browsers Bookshop. Ahead of touring Switzerland, Germany and Bavaria, the trio will perform at the beginning and conclusion of the evening’s entertainment, starting at 8pm at the Riverside Cinema this Wednesday.
There will be clips from the TV adaptation, Grantchester, on the big screen and conversation with the author, whose books will be available along with Jenny Wren’s CDs.
