BLOWING smoke circles is an art some people practice to perfect for years - but they are never this huge!
These unusual smokes circles were seen floating over Cavendish Park at Felixstowe yesterday and it is a bit of mystery as to what caused them.
Wendy Smith was at the coffee morning at Christ Church in Grange Farm Avenue when the circles swept over, appearing to come from the direction of Dock Gate One.
She said: “They appeared for a good ten to 15 minutes.
“No-one had ever seen anything like them - they just rose slowly then melted into the clouds.
“We don't know if anyone else spotted them but would be really interested to hear an explanation.”
One theory is that they may have come from a ship's funnel with the breeze whipping the smoke in to a circle, or possibly from a factory flue in the area.
