A LORRY driver has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving following a road traffic collision on the A14 at Nacton in May last year.
Jasvinder Arora, 44, from Hounslow Road, Feltham, in Middlesex, has been charged with the offence and will appear before Ipswich Magistrates’ Court on January 28.
Officers were called just after 10.20am on May 16 to reports of a three-vehicle collision on the westbound carriageway involving a lorry, a van and a car. The van had been towing the car, a silver Vauxhall Corsa, at the time.
The ambulance service and the air ambulance attended the scene but the woman who was in the Corsa - 33-year-old Carmen Bucur from Romania who had been living locally in Alderton near Woodbridge - died at the scene.
