Police are appealing for the victims of a skimming device in Needham Market to come forward.
On Wednesday February 5, a customer alerted bank staff to the fact that there appeared to be a skimming device on the machine at Barclays Bank in the High Street.
The machine was shut down and CCTV was viewed, which showed a man with black hair removing a device at around 4:15pm the same day.
Suffolk police are interested in speaking to any victims who have been informed by their bank that money has been taken from their accounts without their authority from locations in America between Saturday 8 to Thursday February 13.
A force spokeswoman said Barclays Bank customers had been contacted but card users of different banks were more difficult to get in touch with.
They are asked to call Pc Tina Fairness at Mid Suffolk South SNT on 101 or email on Tina.Fairness@suffolk.pnn.police.uk.
