Needham Market: Christmas Tree Festival raises almost 1,000

A COMMUNITY got into the festive spirit with a Christmas tree festival which raised almost 1,000 for good causes.

‘Celebrations’ was the theme of this year’s festival at Christchurch in Needham Market.

The festival ran from December 6-10 and saw trees decorated by groups, businesses and organisations.

Music was provided by Bosmere Community School Choir, Barking Handbell Ringers, Skylarks Children’s Community Choir, Rabble Chorus and Ian Flowers on organ and David French on guitar.

The money raised will go between the church and its charities – FINE (Families in Need) and Christian Aid Malaria Project.
