Normal services have resumed on the main line between Ipswich and Stowmarket following a bridge strike at Needham Market.
Services had been stopped shortly after the incident had been reported at 1pm.
Engineers from Network Rail inspected the bridge and reopened the line at 2.10pm after declaring it safe.
Greater Anglia have posted on their Twitter page that all disruption caused by the strike has now been cleared and no services are affected.
