Police in Colchester have renewed an appeal after a pedestrian was seriously injured in a road collision.
POLICE in Colchester have renewed an appeal after a pedestrian was seriously injured in a road collision.
A 48-year-old local man remains in a serious condition in hospital following the crash on Sunday, April 4.
The pedestrian was in collision with a silver Mercedes car shortly before 1am in Harwich Road, near the junction with Alderton Road.
Pc Roger Manser said: “We would especially like to talk to the driver of a silver-coloured vehicle, possibly a Renault Clio, driving along Harwich Road in the general direction of Greenstead and Ardleigh, who stopped at the pedestrian crossing near to this location just prior to the collision.”
