Artist Joshua Rosewarne-Andrews created the four art deco prints following a request by the founder of the hugely-popular Facebook community called We Love Bury St Edmunds!

The paintings, which illustrate Bury from the 1920s-1950s, were all unveiled at the Apex, with mayor of St Edmundsbury Julia Wakelam in attendance.

“In June of 2016 an artist came to my attention in the Facebook group with an amazing graphic of the town, which had been designed in the 1920’s art deco style,” said the group’s founder James Sheen. “I was so taken with this, I met with him, and we discussed some more work based on this style.”

The prints are entitled, in chronological order: The Shape of Things to Come, Opening Night, Farewell, and Build for Britain.
