POLICE investigating the disappearance of two prostitutes have released more CCTV images of one of the women in a bid to trace her movements.

Tania Nicol, 19, was last seen around 10.30pm on Monday, October 30 when she left her home in Woolverstone Close, Ipswich.

Police have already released a CCTV image of Miss Nicol walking in front of the exit of Sainsbury's garage in London Road, Ipswich, at 11.02pm on the same night.

Yesterday they released two more video stills of the teenager standing along Handford Road, near to the junction with Burlington Road, at around 11.07pm.

In the first image a car with one taillight not working is seen to drive past Miss Nicol in the direction of the town centre.

In the second picture a man, wearing a baseball cap, light coloured top and carrying a bag worn diagonally across is body, is walking on the opposite side of the road away from the town.

Detective Chief Inspector John Quinton, who is leading the investigation into Miss Nicol's disappearance, said: “Police are keen to speak to a motorist and a pedestrian who are seen on the footage at the same time.

“Were you travelling in the car with the taillight not working? Were you the male walking along Handford Road?

“We would like to trace either of these people as they may have information which could help us with this missing person enquiry.”
