A new shop in Haverhill that will raise money for the RSPCA Danaher Animal Home will open on January 23.
The charity shop, at 21A Queens Street, will be the sixth shop that the RSPCA-affiliated animal home has to raise vital funds for their care of animals.
The other stores are located in Sudbury, Witham, Braintree, Dunmow and Chelmsford.
Area retail manager, Julia Askam said: “We are a small, independent charity so we rely heavily on the income that our shops provide in order to carry out the work we do.
“While we are affiliated with the RSPCA, we provide care in for animals in the first instance before the RSPCA find them their forever homes.”
Julia is keen to hear from anyone who would like to donate stock or would like to volunteer to help run the store and would provide full training.
Anyone interested is asked to call 0300 111 4322.
